The roles of ADAR interacting proteins

Using proximity labeling with APEX2 we have identified over a hundred putative ADAR-interacting proteins, including many RNA binding proteins and helicases. This project focuses on uncovering the roles of these proteins in relation to ADAR biology. For instance, are these proteins modulating A-to-I editing by ADAR, or do they, like ADAR, have roles in supression of dsRNA sensing.
